You need to do a smooth running test with KTS or something similar and an injector leak off test with delphi leak off kit, as Tony has said they do suffer from injector problems, (though not the injectors fault,-crappy fuel and lack of filter changes don,t help, 2003?---probably has,nt had a filter change yet as BMW service schedule shows every 3rd oil change).
