This mini 4x4 has been brought to me with a an idling/stalling fault. Removed/cleaned throttle body which was filthy. Re-built veh & started up with no obvious problems until I road tested it. Engine man light started flashing & I lost nearly all power. Got veh back to workshop. Idling at 1500rpm. Checked throttle pos sensor etc. If I disconnect the battery for a few mins the idle will re-set but goes back up after a couple of mins running. Dealers inform me that the Mitsubishi group have sold 6 throttle bodies in the last month! Has anybody experienced this problem on these before? I Would like to be sure before selling this guy £1000 worth of throttle body!
