Must admit it sounded like mass air flow fault but when you fit a new part it confuses isuue if its faulty.
That is unless its a pattern part.
You have learn,t the lesson I did a while ago when I fitted a pattern cam sensor to vectra. It all seemed to be ok but ecu did not like it. I even scoped output and it seemed ok. Not until much wasted time later I fitted the real thing and compared both scoped patterns and found the output on real thing just a bit bigger.
