Hi everyone I was out to a clio today. The customer said she had problems with the car, suddenly at low speed, surging and not having enough power to pull away and having to be towed home, then next day working perfectly OK. This has happened twice in 3 months. (As far as I can make out it sounds like the idle control cycling but not stalling, as if the accelerator peddle pot was playing up). It is of course running sweet as a nut while I've been there. Every thing checks out perfect, live data gasses etc. The only code stored was, using AD pro, 570 Vehicle speed information intermittent. There was no P codes stored in EOBD. I have not come across this Renault code before and was hoping one of you had? I cant find any reference to the code on the net. Could it be referring to the VSS but why would it cause the lack of power.  Thanks Barry |
