Got there this morning in that freezing wind, manager offered me a lovely corner of the car park to work in, so kind. Scoped the crank sensor, perfect pattern now. Scoped crank and cam together, hey presto timing belt was out 2 teeth. Gave the keys back and the manager could hardly look at me. Got back home to find another of the same vehicles dropped by another garage, as it happens they just done head gasket, same thing again, out 2 teeth. If only everything went that well I could have a holiday.
