Bit of a teaser this one.
Garage that brought car to me knows little of the cars history as it's a new customer. Customer knows little of car as he's not had it long.
Car fails MOT on emissions.3 codes in memory:-
    01 Coolant sensor.
06 Manifold to ECM vac pipe.
    07 TPS
MAP, TPS, CTS all ok on live data.
    Gas readings:
    O2 1.47%
    Co2 12.9%
    HC 437
    CO 1.07%
    Lambda 1.02
Driveability is ok according to garage (didn't have time to test it myself).
Idles ok, a very picky person might say slight misfire.
Engine does seem to get rather hot when idling.
Checked for airleaks, cleaned MAP sensor tube.
    Idle vacuum is 34-35 kPa.
Not sure what's happening with this one, maybe it's cat but I don't think so. I am a bit concerned that the valve timing is out.
    Any ideas?
    Shaun.
