Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 2001 - Fault code P0170 long term fuel trim #Archived Message

hi guys second of my problems.This Corsa comes up with fault code p0170, long term fuel trim fault.This can be reset and the emission light will stay out for around 4 weeks,coming on normally after along run. The light seems to stay out round town.One odd thing is it was the emission light fist, then the spanner light. As in the words of the owner, if it was not for the light being on I would not be aware there was a problem as it drives the same. Any one out there had this?
