Hi All

Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 1995 98,000

Wish diagnostics was as easy as this all the time

Customer complained a few weeks back that when the car was hot it reved up to about 2,000rpm for a few seconds, then back to normal, he was a bit concerned as it was auto and lurched forward when at lights and roundabouts, the fault was intermittent

I checked for codes and a CTS was present, cleared it as i thought it may be old (live data ok), the car did it again after a few days, so checked again and code was back but live data showed the sensor working OK from cold

Cleared code and left it ticking over in the workshop while i carried on with another job, then after 10 minutes it just reved up and down and that was it........captured the moment below on the Modis, fitting a new sensor next week
