I had a Tino in a short while ago and when I scoped the crank & cam during misfire the cam signal moved erratically forward and back laterally quite alarmingly ,nothing steady on mine. It would continually throw up crank sensor fault. It also displayed an unsteady rev counter reading with pulsing at idle. I checked the knock sensor during misfire and received no change unless tapped but did find 2 volts on the line ignition on & whether engine running or not,is this correct? Tensioner protruded >20mm. I am afraid I did not keep the wave and I didnt scope again after fix still getting used to my new toy. I too use a Pico scope with an old CF27 Toughbook (more than up to the job). Have any other Pico users downloaded the Beta first look diagnosis program from their site? Carries out cylinder balance and relative compression test from battery terminals. Very useful freeby and impresses the customer with a print out too! Pico also have an upgraded software package for the scope. personally I found it very slow but that may be down to the Toughbook (Maybe not so up to the job then eh) Anyone else find the new software slow?
