    Jaguar X type 2.5 2003 V6 - Oxygen sensor fault # Archived Message

    Vehicle drives fine.

    Engine Management light on.

Fault code / Oxygen probe bank 2, upstream heated circuit malfunction.

Getting conflicting advice as to which bank is what & which one is upstream & downstream.

Jaguar say bank 2 is nearest the radiator.
Autodata say bank 2 is nearest the bulkhead.

Jaguar say upstream is after the cat.
Autodata say upstream is before the cat.

Which one or who is right is the correct order???????

Also the annoying thing about this vehicle is it take 10 minutes of driving time before a fault is induced into the system, meaning if I disconnect each of the sensors in turn to induce a fault to find out which one is which is bloody annoying.
