    Mercedes Benz A160 1999 - Expected reading from MAF at idle # Archived Message

    Could somebody tell me what the expected readings should be for the MAF at idle please.
    The car is ovefuelling ,with the lambda stuck at 900mv,unless the throttle is blipped.Code P0170 lambda control is logged & reappears fairly quickly after clearing.A new genuine lambda sensor has been fitted,by the customer(garage) & the ecu has been tested as good.
    When the code is cleared it goes into closed loop for a short time.
    I have tested ecu supply & grounds & coolant sensor etc.
    Figures at idle;
    air mass 213 kg/hr
    HFM-SFi voltage 2.2v
    inj duration 9.0 ms
    eng speed 858 rpm
    oil temp 79 deg C
    coolant temp 79 deg C
    O2 914mv
    self adapt idle speed 3.5 kg/h
    self adapt lower part load 1.2 kg/h
    self adapt upper part load 1.12 kg/h
    O2 control before TWC 0%
    regards, Andrew
