sorry new to the forum. the engine code is arz year 98 to 2001 on a w reg done some tests today. scoped crank sensor today on a 20ms time space and 5 v on cranking sensor puts out wave form 1.0v. i think it is a hall sensor, but on testing the signal into the sensor and there is only 2.5v on terminal no2 and 3. if some one knows if this is about right i would be very grateful thanks ryan
