Hi All, Got to a point where just wouldn't accelerate! Connected 'scope to fuel pump monitoring voltage (12.8V) and current (4-6 amps). Pressure would go up to 3.5 bar, which I think is correct according to other posts, but would drop right down to 0.75 bar during extended reving. The voltage and current remained fairly consistent, perhaps flatlining at around 4 amps, which seems low to me. Not surprisingly would then die! Seems to be a single supply system as couldn't see a return from the fuel rail, but has a regulator on the rail (which does what?). There is a return to the pump. Came away from the car in a hurry as getting late. Can anyone briefly explain the system to me i.e. where the regulation takes place etc.?
