hi lads, i tkink i've got a duff sensor here but was juist wanting to run it past you guys. car came in with lack of power. no misfire but v v flat. used launch and kts ,no faults logged but air mass reading would not go over 20gm/s, when driven. when stationary, goes up to 75 - 80 gm/s. with engine revving freely. fitted new bsch air mass meter, still the same, flat as owt will not go over 22-25 gm/s when driven, at idle 3gm/s. checked vacuum 21 steady drops to 2 and back to 25 when throttle blipped. ran with no exhaust , still the same, changed plugs compressions all fine, still no fault codes. have not checked fuel pressure , but can't see how fuel pressure would affect air mass value. plugs were straw coloured so not over fuelling. o2 sensors both changing as expected , it has to be faulty air mass meter , any thoughts greatly appreciated. steve
