Hi Peter >>>Modern sensors " breathe" through wires<<< I understand this, but the sensor displayed the same characteristics the instant that it was fitted, as did the cheapy sensor that was fitted as a temporary fix. So no way could oil be effecting the “breathing” on the new sensors that quick. The oil must travel some distance through the wires to get to the O2 sensor plug. But hey it was soaked & there was no other evidence of oil anywhere near, so it must be right. I wonder how far & how much oil is in the loom. Thanks for the feedback Dave (Hill)
