Hi Darren, I had to pop in to work earlier (boo) so I did a quick inv. reprint of the '53 1600 Megane that we repaired in Feb. The Cam pulley (or dephaser unit as Andy correctly named it) was £113.29+vat retail, you will also need a cam belt kit which should include the 2 blanking seals at the back of the cyl head. My collegue actually did the job but we charged 2.7 hours to replace after a diagnostic check so it couldn't have been that much grief I guess. I do remember something odd about the spring loaded locking pin that locates in the cam though?? However, make the call to Renault, if they will cover the job at least you'll save any hassle this time and your customer will save money. Good Luck
