Looking for help with Merc A140. Car idles ok but when you attempt to drive away it dies and will not pull away. It will return to idle ok, the longer it idles the smoother the idle becomes. The ECU inc' air mass has been tested and is ok. The original fault codes on Sykes code reader were Air temp sensor and EGR. Code for EGR returned. Can not find any form of EGR system on car and none listed in Autodata components locations. Tomorrow i will test fuel pressure and flow. I need to test throttle unit ( fly by wire ) but not sure how. Thanks Paul... |
