Hi. Vehicle came in, MIL on with Code P1031 (intake manifold air control valve position sensor lower limit not reached), i found that the intake manifold flap and actuator had broken. I changed both parts and reset ok. After approx 50 miles the same fault came back, reset but the same happened again. Previously his vehicle had to be reset several times after a coil had been fitted to cure a misfire. It seems unlikely that i have not cured the fault when i found what i found. Can anyone shed any light thanks.
