I would have thought that the after CAT lambda sensor would have logged a fault code for poor CAT efficiency if the CAT was faulty, could this be a problem with sticking valves due to wrong oil type. Valve timing is also worth a check as mentioned. try this website for more help with vacuum readings. http-www.earlycuda.org-tech-vacuum2.htm
