Car belongs to one of my mecahnics. Serviced on Saturday, fault appeared thereafter.
Intermittent EPC problem.
Car loses throttle, EPC and MIL lamp appear. Code retrieved: 17961 Barometric pressure/manifold pressure signal out of range.
Have renewed breather hose and MAP sensor (engine is a little breathy)Have thoroughly cleaned throttle body, new base gasket. Have checked carefully for inlet air leaks. Replaced spark plugs. Brake switch replaced last week to rectify gear selection problem (automatic).
Unable to reset adaptions with Autodiagnos, but engine running, revving fine this morning. Code 17961 cleared, but codes 17962, 17989 (adaption not performed)remain.
