    Hi all,

    symptoms -
The car will "bog down" and lose all power (but not stall) for 2-5 seconds.
I can make this happen if:
    1. Drive approx 50 mph for 1 mile
    2. Brake to a near standstill
    3. Immediately turn right (at least 90 degrees)
    4. Accelerate as normal
Power is then restored and normal operation resumed. Very occasionally if you hit a bump (e.g. speed ramp) the car might lose
    power for 1-2 seconds.

When tested there are NO fault codes on any control units.
    Datastream values are within spec.
The EMS2000 has been updated with the latest software.

When I checked Fuel Pressure it was 2.8 Bar at idle.
However, if left at idle for a prolonged period it would drop slowly to 2.1
Bar and then recover to 2.8 Bar. This could happen every 2-3 minutes when
hot. With snap acceleration the pressure drop is 0.1 Bar.
I removed the fuel filter (in RH level sensor assembly) and the fuel in the
housing was black. However, the fuel in the tank is spotless. I cleaned out the housing and refitted the old filter. I did not have a new one, it's a "lifetime" filter.

I rechecked fuel pressure and now it's 2.9 Bar dropping occasionally to 2.3 Bar.

Since cleaning the filter housing the symptoms haven't returned. But I think they will.

    Anyone seen this before?

    thanks
