Thanks for your replies. This car drives well, only slightly flat like driving in to the wind, after resetting its a little worse and the customer even felt the performance was down, stumbles a bit when you pull up and a slight flat spot when you pull away. The customer did say that he thought it ran better with a full tank. I don't know if that is relevant or his imagination The short term will go to +15 or more in workshop so that makes testing a bit easier lambda switching well 200-800 1hz and responds instantly to carb cleaner must admit i haven't had it on the gas tester yet and that will be my next test. I also haven't had the heat shield of the exhaust to look for cracks near the sensor. There are no other codes. I also tried disconnecting lambda and a drive up the road in open loop made the performance noticeably worse. I think that means the extra fuel is required and not just a result of excess unburnt o2. Done so many things that i cant remember if i checked manifold vac last week when I first looked at this I will check again. I think I was looking for lack of fuel rather than excess unburnt oxygen so thanks. I should know to keep all options open. As for the maf thats an interesting one.The one thats in it just now is an intermotor, they are cheap; are they made in china? I'll have a look at the original one again. thanks and I will let you know how i get on. last thing I did was put in some forte injector cleaner as the customer is running it over the weekend worth a try!
