i would inform the customer that as Few basic Diagnostic checks will cost him that much and possibly Even after that he still might not know Excactly what the fault is. If it then needs 1 Single component then he can't afford to Have it repaired. ???? I would advise him that it is more than likely that it will cost him in the region of £200 upwards ( Although it is possible an Earlier fix will cost him less )and if he isn't prepared to go that far, he ought to pick it up and send it to the breakers yard. Don't dump it on the poor old Sparky.
