Hi John, Sorry for the late reply. Did this throttle body have a white paint dot on the body? If not, there is a chance that it may still need to be modified. The small breather pipe in the base of the body needs to be drilled oversized slightly and then a new software flashed into the ecu. When this is completed, a white dot of paint should then be placed on the throttle body to indicate that the modification has been carried out. This is a modification that is within the GM TIS documentation, and we have literally done loads of these since they become troublesome. If this one comes back then you will need to carry out the above repair to sort the problem permanently. HTH you John, Gunner. |
