Hi Phil. I think you have got a lack of Response due to not giving us any clue's. ??

So. What where the fault codes. ?? And the descriptions so that it gives us/you a clue as to what tests to do. ??

Are you saying that there is no signal on Live data on the scanner or Directly at the sensor using a voltmeter. ??

If you haven't already done it, Check the heater Element resistance using an ohmeter. ( 5-15 0hms across the 2 white wires going into the sensor with it unplugged) If it's open circuit Condemn it.

Or if its Ok, Plug it back in for the other checks.

You can also check that there is voltage across the 2 white wires with the engine running. ( Some are 12v and some are pulsed.

Check for a neg on the grey wire with the voltmeter.

check for a signal ( 0.1- 1v flictuating ) on the black wire after its been running for 5 minutes or so.

If Heater Element checks out ok, and its got a Feed across it. and you get no voltage on the signal wire, Try a new sensor. ?? Then when you have sorted that one, Move onto the Rear sensor.

    H.T.H.

P.S. This is a good site for wiring colours on Lambda sensors. http://www.lambda-sensor.co.uk
