Had a similar problem last week on the same vehicle.No communication and no MIL on when switched on.Eventually found a large amount of water in ECU area beneath NS windscreen and dampness inside ECU case.Dried all this out and system returned to normal.IMHO there are some design problems with this model-absurd ECU location and grossly overcomplicated fuel tank system.
