    Hi Stuart

IPDM E/R = INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE ENGINE ROOM).

P1126 Throttle Control Motor Relay open circuit is a good accurate DTC.

As Roy suggest check fuse 51 first.

You will have open circuit either between the engine ECU and IPDM. Or the IPDM has been damaged by the impact.

All integrated IPDM relays can never be removed.

the throttle control relay is one of these integrated relay. The relay is controlled via the engine ecu (earth trigger)

Other systems controlled by the IPDM E/R

    1. Lamp control
Using the CAN communication line, it receives signals from BCM and controls following lamps:
    – Headlamps (Hi, Lo)
    – Parking lamps, tail lamps and license plate lamp – Front fog lamps

    2. Front wiper control
Using the CAN communication line, it receives signals from BCM and controls front wiper.

    3. Headlamp washer control
Using the CAN communication line, it receives signals from BCM and controls headlamp washer.

    4. Rear window defogger control
Using the CAN communication line, it receives signals from BCM and controls rear window defogger.

    5. A/C compressor control
Using the CAN communication line, it receives signals from ECM and controls A/C compressor.

    6. Cooling fan control
Using the CAN communication line, it receives signals from ECM and controls cooling fan.

Use activations in your scan tool to test ECU Output. ECU pin 104 is the relay control (switched earth).

And ECU pin 3 is 12 volt supply coming from the Relay (pin87) to the ECU with inturn powers the the throttle body control circuitry
