Car dropped off as a non runner, but has a known fault with dtc of 16502 coolant temp sensor fault that was in for repair and service. Came to test and no 1 coil pack faulty, new one fitted and test firing ok, vehicle still won't start, fuel pressure ok, plugs have been getting wet, compression ok new plugs have now been fitted but vehicle not even a hint of firing!Rang customer and story goes had no probs in starting when cold but won't start when hot has to be left for 4 hours,now as above won't now start at all. Have herd that these have a problem with timing chains,is that true and would be a fix!!! Thanx Mark |
