Jag 1994 XJ6 3.2 non start Archived Message

    hi
I’m working on a non-start 1994 Jag XJS with a 3.2 engine. The vehicle was towed in after a non-start. Initially the starter would not engage due to a flat battery. That has been charged and the engine now cranks but no spark. There are a number of relays involved; ignition on, main ecu, O2 heater and fuel pump in that order.
The ignition on relay is working and there is battery voltage at relay on the white /pink wire to the ignition coil and the main ecu relay. There is continuity on the white and pink wires but no voltage at the main ecu relay or ignition coil! I’ve tried giving the system voltage to make the relays work but the vehicle still refuses to spark.
The car has an OEM immobiliser and the light goes out when the blip is pressed. I suspect I can’t see the wood for the trees so any help would be appreciated.

    Regards
