Jaguar XJ V8 4.0 ,1998, BC engine. Code U1135 help please. Archived Message

Hi, I don't normally get involved with these but the owner is a good customer and wants to sell the car when sorted - smart move!
This car would fail to start now and again and when it runs it runs fine. No Check Engine light on.
It now refuses to start. Thought it was flooding like they do but plugs are dry.
    It has 42psi fuel pressure.
On cranking I get rpm reading using EOBD. No EOBD codes or pending codes.
Scoped 2 injectors using current clamp, and they only open once when cranking starts then stay shut.
Scoped primaries on 2 coils and nothing.
Used Pico COP probe on 4 coils, no spark.
Using Auto Enginuity Jaguar system got 12 body codes and the following:
    P0790 Normal/performance switch circuit.
U1041 SCP(j1850)invalid or missing data for vehicle speed.
U1135 SCP(J1850) invalid or missing data for ignition switch/starter.
    U1261 SCP(J1850) single ended (-) circuit failure.
U2012 communication bus error (non SCP).

I think the U1135 may be the relevant code here but on my Jaguar disc it does not list this code. It may not have power out of the ignition switch when cranking?
Can anyone explain in more detail the above descriptions please?
    Also what does SCP mean?
Anyone have a good Jaguar code database-web?

I'll probably scope crank sensor tomorrow to see if weak signal and look at ignition switch but if any one has any suggestions I would be grateful.
Apologies for long post but need to get everything down.

    Thanks, Martin.
