Hi everyone Had the vehicle come into us after having a battery fitted by the RAC for non start.The vehicle stopped completly the next day while driving.I have done a fuctional check and systems effected are ESP SRS AIRCON and the starter just clicks.Battey tested ok I have checked battery volt drops to body and engine across neg and positive all within 200mv.The fuse in the os Sam unit to the starter only outputs 2v under cranking.There are CAN faults in esp srs aircon and Central electronics (ignition switch)all with faulty can signal.I have no data to tell me if they are all on the same bus ring.I suspect it could be the Sam unit that is at fault due to the low ouput voltage. I would be grateful for any input Andy |
