kevin Thanks for your reply...i've sorted it now.. i got the customer to bring his 'fail' sheet and the 'off the scale CO reading' turned out to be a lambda reading of 1.14!! I'd already checked the exhaust but now i knew what the problem was I re-checked and found a leak at the manifold under the heat shield. There was no EGR valve on this car so the readings were just spurious i suppose... Dave |
