Customer brought car in asking if I could fit a new MAP sensor because the local dealers had told him it needed one but they wanted 600 quid to do the job! Smelling a large rodent I plugged the Axone on and got: Manifold pressure sensor Throttle position sensor Throttle position sensor Ignition control circuit 1 Emergency gear-throttle electronic command These codes will not reset. The IAT is also giving a value of -39 deg C I'm thinking either it's got a bad earth, corroded loom or the ECU has croaked it. Any known ECU problems with this engine? I suspect the answer is yes! Any advice welcome. Shaun |
