If so, remove it, repair the wires and throw the cover in the bin. A good starting point is to strip and clean the throttle housing as they get clogged with oil/sludge similar to vauxhalls. Warn the customer before you touch it that there is no guarrantee that you will fix it first time and that you might have to start replacing parts if a good clean doesn't sort it. ( and it will be Exensive ) we have cleaned dozens, fitted a few throttle bodies, and repaired lots of harnesses. If you strip it, spray ALL connections with contact cleaner before refitting. we have never programmed any but i think kts can reset adaptions. ??
