    Suzuki Vitara V6 auto, A/C, 1997 Archived Message

    This vehicle came to me with an intermittant jerking about and cutting out and no idle. Found wiring fault at airflow meter connector, you could move the connector and it would cut out, replaced connector and about 10" of wiring and fault still present, suspected internal connection in airflow meter, replaced airflow meter with working unit, engine no longer cuts out when connector is moved, so that cured that part. But, lol, the vehicle drives really badly, wont pull and rev and doesnt like a load on the engine, just putting the aircon on cuts it out.

    Code stored was 33-airflow voltage high. Cleared and ran up, code returned, Gas checked at idle CO-9.0%, O2-0.9%

    Gonna check the whole loom, but i suspect the ECU, ive had other suzuki's with duff ECU's, they normally loose their 5v supply to some of the engine sensors, but never a V6 vitara.
