Thanks for your response. I did follow the cable but it disappeared behind the back of the engine and could not see which box of tricks it is attached to. I might be mistaken though. Was the APP an easy fit ie a roadside job, because I might be tempted to get one if the customer calls back. 80 mile round trip otherwise.
