    Hi All,
Would anyone like to comment authoritatively on this phenomena. I have a Volvo 850 20v that does this once every few months, and I've just seen a Mazda 1.5 'R' that wouldn't start every morning, with low compressions on 3 cylinders (compressions, starting and running were fine when hot). Is this just a wear issue or something more sinister with the fuelling i.e. could even a new engine suffer from this if the cylinder bores were washed with too much petrol. Would love to hear from someone on this!
    Regards,
    Nick Bell
