had this one in today, been diagnosed inlet cam shaft dephaser noisy. replaced dephaser, timing belt kit and cam sensor. on firing up, car starts Ok, no noise, no misfires, runs OK, but storing three fault codes; double checked cam timing using correct tools, OK.
338 camshaft sensor signal phaser measurement
491 camshaft dephaser circuit programming error
339 camshaft sensor signal (a tooth is missing)
Am i missing something? is there a procedure on fitting new dephasers that I do not know about. Customer needed car back so could not carry out any more tests. Curious if anybody has had any similar problems before I get the car back in.
PS: had it on Renault clip cannot remember exact codes two codes stored. Dephaser programming error and sensor signal.
