    Hi Ian,
    Thanks for that. Not quite sure what you meant regarding linking the diagnostic socket. I seem to remember it's a 4 pin one, with 4 pins?? Do I link both diagonals or has it got less than 4 pins? I've already been back to it, having read lots of posts on iatn, and an ECU repair site, regarding ECU problems on Suzukis from this era. Problems regarding dry joints and leaking electrolytic capacitors were regular suspects so; soldered suspect joints and replaced 1 of 2 capacitors (leaking) and cleaned the pcb in that area. Left it working perfectly, with no flashing EML on acceleration (Oh... the garage had said that it would cough and splutter under load after my first visit. Oohps, hadn't road tested it!). I am leaving it for a week before sending a bill, but so far so good...
