    Hi George,

    This system is covered on the Bosch ESI Archive disc, where a wiring diagram is available. I can email you a copy this afternoon/evening if you require it.

    From the info I have read you are correct about it having two 35 pin plugs, one for Motronic ML1.3 and the other for the transmission, as engine and transmission are integrated into one unit.

    This Pt No was fitted to BMW 732i E23 from 1979 to 1986 with engine No 32 6 EA.

    At tickover RPM sensor on pins 27 & 8 Should be at least 2.5V peak to peak and reference(TDC) sensor on pins 25 & 26 should be at least 2.0v peak to peak.
