VW Passat/02/1.9tdi/AVB - How do you adjust timing Archived Message

Need to know how to adjust timing. I have put VAG COM on it and in tdi graph it says timing too far advanced to graph, it shows fuel temp 144 and timing 127. The car has 65000 on the clock but it had a cam belt at 30000,done by vw dealer. The car runs fine and has just passed an mot smoke test. Also i am not sure about the service setting, its on long life oil so went in to 17 inst, adaption, channel 02, put in 0 for service done, looked at 45 already had 04, checked 43 and found it set at 50, checked 44 and found 730 so by just changing 02 to 00 is this good enough to keep the si out for 20000mls, thanks again Kim.
