Hi there,
does it feel engine related or transmission related. You emphasised 4 th gear does it do it any other time? Does it do it only on acceleration or cruise? Does it always happen on every trip?
I have asked the ong standing vw techs in the workshop and they have never come across it.
I would have thought the dual mass flywheel would have happen further up the rev range as well. Can you see grease through the bell housing, (gearbox still in?)
What about the carnk pulley rubber?
