Hi Ray, this is coil in the cap type ignition, the amp and coil are inside the dizzy?? The wiring diagram shows an inline resistor. Is the primary of the ign switching, usually the blue wire if same as wifes car, did you use the same cap, was the carbon brush ok? Ill get pin numbers for dizzy/ecu signal, if the dizzy isnt switching but the inj are then speed sensor should be ok which leaves amp coil and ecu. Unlikely that two dizzies with exactly same fault which leaves ecu or wiring to/from. HTH Jim
