thanks for the replys and thanks for Andy Evans phone call which i hope has solved the problem it seems the main injector pump starts to break up ,peugeot have admitted there is a fault with them ,a quick phone call to my local parts dept confirmed this. it seems not only do they replace the pump they replace the tank,fuel lines,filter housing,and anything that has been contaminated with metal i sent my customer off to the peugeot agents this morning armed with this information and told him to ring me if he got fobbed off ,no phone call as yet i will let you know the outcome.john
