Mercedes C220 CDi 1999 - Loss of power, EPC light on, code 4648 Archived Message

Loss of power, EPC light on. Comes up with code 4648. Does anyone know to what this code refers? I have cleared the fault code and cleaned out the pipe from the manifold to the map sensor and all went well on test whereas before the light would come on every few hundred yards.
