Renault 19 1.8L - Fast idle emissions failure Archived Message

    Hi all
Checked this vehicle over today for a trade customer it had failed it's mot for high co at fast idle. Emissions at idle are perfect also if you take the engine up to about 4000-4500rpm the readings come back ok again.
Code read no codes stored. checked lambda switches fine at idle & hangs high at 2750 rpm (high co). Also checked with Autodiagnos parallel TPS MAP sensor Coolant sensor etc all check out normal. I've read an old post by Ian Scott with similar symptoms but there was no fix.
Customer had put new cat & lambda sensor on before bringing it to me.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Russ
