Thanks for the input Alan. I did check for integrity of wiring to the ecu by sending my own variable signal down the wire to the ecu. The customer had tried a different lambda sensor, to no avail, but I did not try inducing rich/lean, as I thought the 800mv agreed with the rich mixture, I will have another look at this. I have tried two different soft ware pods in the ACR4, but do not have access to another scanner. The ACR4 just says 'Code 26-Lambda sensor cct', or words to that affect. As all other datastream appears ok, I do not suspect the scanner, but I will go and have another look at the live data. Many thanks, Peter Rainsley
