    Hello All
Well its running, but it wasnt the immobiliser
Pulled out immob box and aerial/harness (trapped between column and body) and all seemed fine as far as i can see this is the wiring
    black --------earth
    red ----------battery 12V
    orange--------ignition 12V
brown---------output to code light on dash
pink----------as its the short straw id say this is the communication to unlock engine management ecu

resistance of aerial harness 33.7 ohms

so... decided to connect tester to engine management and search for codes
    no comms and no MIL...
yes theres no ign feed to ecu found faulty engine control relay and got power to one of the five power supplies had to bridge across to the others
code light went out and Mil came on car fired up
result switched off and disconnected bridge and noticed i now had power stripped loom and found splice between ecu and relay stripped and soldered and now all i have to do is rebuild dash
    Thanks for All help
    Regards Jez
