Mercedes ML 320 T REG. OK on LPG - Duel fuel, No good on petrol Archived Message

    Hi all!
We all get our unusual ones from time to time.
Customer called me in to look at this Dual fuel Mercedes.
'Apparently'vehicle ran perfectly on LPG gas
until it ran out,but will not run ok on petrol.
Engine has trouble revving up under load
suggesting plugs and leads are faulty.
    Fault codes are
    1) PO170 FUEL TRIM BANK 1 MALFUNCTION
    2) PO173 FUEL TRIM BANK 2 MALFUNCTION
    3) PO300 RANDOM /MULTIPLE CYLINDERS MISFIRE
    DETECTED
    4) PO301 CYL 1
    PO302 CYL 2
    PO304 CYL 4
    PO305 CYL 5
    PO306 CYL 6 MISFIRE DETECTED
I explained to customer that from experience
the common fault on these models have been
plugs and leads breaking down but still
customer reckons car ran perfectly on gas.

FUEL PRESSURE MEASURED AT 4.0 BAR is this correct?

I have just flow tested injectors on ASNU
program F at 4 bar pressure.
result is even 110 ml on all six injectors.
    spray pattern looks good.

Does anyone know is LPG much easier to fire
under load in the engine than petrol and would
not show up a plug and lead fault so much?
    grateful of any guidance

    Best regards John Sartain
