Been out to this one at customers house last thing today.Car is 1998 Megane 1.6 (8 valve).Won't start. No spark & no fuel being injected, but fuel pump runs all the time ignition is switched on.Was unable to read any fault codes "failed to communicate with ecu."I believe pump is controlled through ecu so does this indicate an ecu fault? I had hoped it was just a faulty crank sensor but this surely wouldn't cause pump to run constantly? Any ideas? David.
